About the event
The Youth Print convened a strategic debrief to translate outcomes from the Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS II) and the Africa Youth Climate Assembly (AYCA 2025) into actionable strategies for COP30 in Belém. The session highlighted key continental declarations, youth priorities, and opportunities in climate finance, adaptation, green innovation, and governance, positioning youth as central actors in Africa’s climate agenda. Participants explored practical pathways to move from commitments to tangible solutions, emphasizing evidence-based tracking, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and scalable initiatives.
The debrief consolidated youth-driven priorities, and laid the foundation for strategic engagement at COP30, ensuring African youth can influence national and continental climate action. By connecting continental commitments with local action, the session empowered participants to translate policy into results, ensuring youth-led contributions are actionable, accountable, and impactful.
